We all think we wouldn't be taken in by a scam. But the truth is that scammers are getting better and we're not necessarily getting wiser. How do we know if what we find online is reliable and trustworthy?

2.2 A toolkit for a credible online journalist

Today through the internet citizens can report on events in real time. Are there things an online journalist can do that an offline journalist can't? And what about the other way around – are there things that an offline journalist can do that wouldn't be possible online (e.g. copyright, quality control, dissemination…)?
